My brother sent me this:

FRIENDS,

THIS IS INTERESTING, ISN'T IT ?.

On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.

That won't ever happen again.

You may now return to your (normal ?) life.

One week ago Wednesday my 82 year old mother (born on February 4, 1924 - 2/4/24) had a heart attack and collapsed. She was not breathing when the ambulance arrived too many minutes later - however, they restarted her heart - and delivered her to a local hospital. I've just spent the past week with my two surviving sisters at her bedside in the ICU awaiting her inevitable passing.

She died in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at exactly three a.m..

Time of death? O3:00/04/05/06

Life can be and often is stranger than fiction.

My deepest condolences, Richard. Those are long minutes of agony, standing at Mother's bedside, waiting for that awful mechanical sound from equipment, signaling that our loved one has passed. I hope your Mother had a great life. I'll be thinking of you.

. . .and maybe 12:03:04 05/06/07 or 12:34:56 07/08/09?

. . .or 12:31:23 12/31/23 or 12/21/2112<---year of the Rush album, right?

On one hand, patterns are all around us, on the other, its easy to "cheat" a little, by dropping the century part of the year. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My 86 year old grandmother died the next night. She had a heart attack about two weeks ago, fell and broke her hip. From not moving or doing her therapy, she developed blood clots.
