I just got the updates from todays action in Taiwan and Allison Fisher has been eliminated at the beginning of the single elimination stage of the event by Franziska Stark 7-6. This has to be a very disappointing finish for Allison.

On the juniors side, Shane Hennen and Tyler Strawn are both still playing and are down to the round of 4. They play each other tomorrow and the winner will compete in the finals.

I wonder how much it cost Allison to go there and then lose? Now everyone will wonder if she is past her prime. Afterall, how good could her opponent have been? Lee was smart in not going. Now she is still a winner with her fans here in the good ol USA and is the prime candidate to replace fisher. Afterall, Karen got beat too. And no one remembers who comes in 2nd. Jake
