My little town is celebrating it's one hundred year anniversary. They turned down my slogan suggestion
"One hundred years of mediocrity"
but how can you knock a city, where they overhead banner
on "Main St" reads......"Welcome to Beaver Country!!"
Thats the local HS sports teams nickname, fo course

Happy Anniversary to everyone in Beaver Country. Be careful there, Wolf, Gayle will be lining up every male over 12 for a vasectomy and that'll probably chase the Beaver away.

Happy Celebration....

I think it sounds like a great place.
Every spring you can have the "Beaver Fest", have a Beaver parade, Eat more Beaver, and even crown one of the town's finest young ladies "Miss Beaver".
Any place that celebrates beavers would be my kind of town!
(Happy Anniversary to you and your neighbors!)

Sounds like where I work on the Ohio River.
At the county fair each year we crown the " Trout Tramp".

And not too far from you, there is a little town called Pikeville where they hold the Hillbilly Festival every year. I've been there, seen the parade...seen the old ford truck with a toilet for the driver's seat!

Gotta love small towns!!!!!
