It means so much to anyone that has lost a family member, or friend.....or to anyone that appreciates the sacrifices that were made, by so many.....
Here's just one story from the millions out there. In WWII, the five Sullivan brothers were killed when the cruiser, the USS Juneau, they were serving on, was hit by a torpedo and sank.
The guy on the right, in the photo, is my cousin Bill, retired firefighter with citations for bravery, even had a city parade for him. If anybody is familiar with fire trucks, he was the tillerman on a hook&ladder.....that's the guy that steers the back end around the corners. i'm lucky i can steer my car...

We served in the Navy, but fortunately between wars.....might have been between WWWI & WWWII...getting so old, I can't remember anymore
Good day to reflect on the current sacrifices of our brave troops. I saw a program last nite where they were transporting the wounded, one young man had lost both legs......very sad.....
