Suggestions refinishing rails?

I have an older Gold Crown III table. The rails have that wood grain laminate. The finish has became dull of the years and I would like to bring back some shine and luster to the finish. Any recommendations on a product I can use before I start gluing the cushions and re-clothing the rails?
