Does anyone know of dealers other than Platinumbilliards? I am having a custom cue made and he want to use his own collar. The thing is Im trying to find a good price on a partial ob-1 shaft. Any help would be great.

for a partial you would probably have to talk to Royce.

You might try Beads & Billiards. I've bought from them before with no problems. Here's the link: http://www.beadsandbilliards.com/ob1shaft.html

What's a 'partial OB-1 shaft'?
If you mean you want a blank for your cue builder to use, or you want your joint rings to match, contact Royce and either he will make one for you or point you to the solution. They are ramping up the building process due to high demand, so be patient if he tells you it will be a few weeks on the turnaround. I just went to the shop to see what's what last week, and to ooh and ahh over machines, tools, and shaft work. I have a great deal of faith in what they are building.
As for adjusting to using such a shaft on your cue... I would think a week or two of heavy play would be enough to reach normal comfort in competition.
