I'm going to get an uninterruptable power backup unit specifically for my DLP tv. Anyone here already bought one and gotten what they call well researched and possibly proven quality? I see ranges from 350KV to really expensive 3000KV, and am leaning toward a 1500KV. Do the ones touted for PC protection and 1500KV ratings protect a DLP light source during a blackout? Tia...sid

I have two of these. I have had several APC brand units. I had problems with them and they failed after about a year. I like the Belkins plus they look nice.

I am not sure what you mean by interactive. It does have the standard 9 pin serial connecter and a USB port for cennection to a PC. It can do an orderly shutdown of your computer when there is an extended power outage and it's battery drains below a certain level.

I have one for my computer equipment and one for my TV/stereo.
