I just wanted to remind everyone that the IBSF World Snooker Team Championships get underway at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California, on August 16 through to August 26.

These Championships will be the first major international snooker competition to be staged in the United States.

The Championships official website is now online at:

Thanks and best wishes.

Actually, it's Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oy, Oy, Oy. (Sheez, you'd think someone who lives there would know...) Thanks for the heads up, Alan. I wish I could be there. Go USA!

Ozzy No3 Daniel Thorp knocked me off at English Billiardz in our inter-club match in Geelong 2 weeks ago (he ownz a Pizza shop)-- Ozzy No2 Mathew Bolton iz the ozzy billiardz champ and haz knocked me off a few times -- Ozzy No1 Robbie Foldvari iz an ex World Champ at English Billiardz -- but he haz never beaten me (he duznt even know me).

If it were the World Teamz Billiardz, then we would win for sure.

Okay, so some people can't be trained. My bet is none of the AUSSIE contingent make it past the first round...
