View Full Version : Dell Laptop blows up pickup truck

I was in a hotel in VA yesterday and I had CNN on getting ready to go to work. This fellow came on with a cowboy hat and a long white beard. Kinda reminded me of ras314. He was explaining how his Dell laptop caught fire in his truck and he had a couple of boxes of ammo in there <font color="blue">( doesn't everyone) </font color>, and when the fire got em and they went off they got both gas tanks <font color="blue">(got two gas tanks? doesn't everyone?)</font color> and then they blew up and burned up the whole truck.

He said his grandpa bought the truck and was handed down to him by his father. A priceless family heirloom that had been in the family for three generations.

Dell has offered him a new laptop.

In other financial news, Dell to open a new chain of discount outlets. The first one opening in Tehran next week.

I shudder when I think of the countless times I've left the laptop on while I was out shopping.

Took the battery out when I got home yesterday and I'm running on AC power for now.
