View Full Version : Baby boy on the way
Hello everyone,
I will be off the board for a little while. My wife is going in for an induction on Wednesday. While I will miss all the great discussion on the board, my laptop will be used for work while everyone else is sleeping. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
My wife has decided that we can no longer make any big decisions in our life prior to talking to close family members. We married on Sept 15, 2001, 4 days after the terrorists killed 3k people. While my wife was pregnant with my daughter her mother had appendicitis and needed her appendix removed. Then my daughter was born in the middle of hurricane Francis. While my wife was pregnant with my son, my mother-in-law had a mild heart attack. Now we find out, hurricane Ernesto is supposed to be rolling through Orlando on Wednesday the day of the induction. How crazy is that. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ed,
Congrats on the pending new arrival. And I must agree with your wife. Maybe you better abstain for a while and help cut down on the natural disasters! /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My daughter is expecting a girl anytime and
my daughter-in-law is expecting a boy in about 3 weeks.

Ed,
Congratulations and make sure you stay safe. After all, no one is going into Orlando to rescue a bunch of republicans! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Take care and best wishes to your wife and family.

Just a naming suggestion.....Albert John ("you can be my bodyguard, I can be your long lost pal....you can call me Al")....in honor of the last two winners of the popular vote for President....before the "adjusted" count.
Here's hoping that you have a fine, healthy baby....

Congradulations Ed. The members of the ccb, as well as the National Weather Bureau would like to know. Will this be the last? St.
I heard that the Neo-Con Rightwing Christian Southerners had a plan to win the 2028 election but I didn't believe it till now! /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
The lengths you guys will go to to make sure that Bush Jr Jr becomes President!!!!!!! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Congratulations Ed. Please tell your wife that we are all rooting for her and the the baby here at the CCB.
[ I was going to make a joke about how she has our sympathies for having to live with you , but I wont. It would spoil the mood. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif]

Best Wishes to you and your wife, Ed. Hey, she may not need to be induced with the sudden drop in barometric pressure. You know what they say about births and hurricanes...get her to the hospital early so you get first dibs on a bed. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Actually the name will be Ed the Fifth. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That is how we are going to do it. The plan is working out just nicely. Every non-Lib is out having babies to bolster the polls, and all the Libs are freely aborting. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Just kidding. Thanks for the cheers. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My wife had our daughter in the middle of Hurricane Francis. By the time we made it to the hospital, there were no beds left for me so I had to sleep across two chairs. Not too comfortable.
This time around should be drastically different. We are having our baby at the new Winnie Palmer Hospital. The hospital just opened up this year and it is beautiful. It almost looks like a casino on the inside. There are murphy beds for the fathers so no one can take the bed out of our room. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif Some of the other cool things are wireless internet connections in the rooms, all the medicine and such are kept behind paintings, floor to ceiling windows, and full bathrooms.

The name has already been picked, besides why would we want to hear the names of a couple losers. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Now is the time for having children. I have two close friends from high school who just had their daughters last week. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't know what it is about us, but those things seem to follow us around. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ed, you say you are just kidding, but I heard on the news this week that someone did a study and found that conservatives have more children than liberals. And since many children develop the same values as their parents, that would contribute to the growing numbers of conservatives. (That, and the fact that the right is right!! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif )

Hello Everyone,
My son was born 8/30/2006 at 5:11 PM. He was 8 lbs 4 oz and 22 inches long. We have a lot of family coming in and out and friends are here all day so it makes it tough to rest but we are enjoying every minute of it.
