What to expect when going to pool hall?

Hey Guyz, im fairly new to pool and i've started getting serious but only time i play is when im at school which is like twice a week. I was thinking about going to a pool hall place but wasn't sure what to expect, i guess my question is, is there anything like unwritten rules that i need to know before i go, or anything like that? If you guyz can help me out id appreciate it, Thanks in advance

Actually it depends on your personality and moral values.

What I may find offensive, others may think is perfectly OK. Other than that, following are some general guidelines which will get you some respect from the better players...

Don't sit on the tables.

Don't squeeze past someone or walk close-by in their line of sight when they are about to shoot.
