The British Commander in Iraq, is stating that we must get out of Iraq, soon, among other damning statements regarding conditions in Iraq. Then Blair get's to him, and he waters down his statements.

Top Republicans, coming back from Iraq, stating that Iraq is a failed state,...Generals, present and retired, speaking to the quagmire our people are in over there. Malikki of Iraq, also muzzled by the Administration, after he damning statements, regarding our presence, and its connection to the violence.

Troop fatalities are going through the roof this month.

BUT...everythings is on hold, since Republicans are in trouble in their re-elections?

We should send Bu$h, Cheney, Rove, Rice, Rumsfeld, Laura and Barney over there, and leave them, and the top Generals, in Iraq, till they lead the Iraqis to peace, and Democracy, and bring our people home!

When this mess finally comes to a screeching halt, the Administration will lay all the blame at the foot of the Generals. The same Generals, and American Commanders who have had to dummy down throughout, in order to avoid being given the hook, the same way as Clarke, Schenshekki, and others were cut out. Everything Bush and Rumsfeld are saying, is a lead up to lay the blame on the others.

You may be right about that, but, I think they, the British, are going to begin to speak out in ways which they haven't previously.

Every week, more Republicans speak out against the present policies.

I think Woodward's book, has been instramental in uncovering just how F-ed up this administration really is, and how ego driven its policies truly are.

I think it's a disgrace for Baker to surpress his findings until after the elections, leaving our troops in this bloodbath, for the benefit of Republican Votes!!!

Bush has created such a huge mess, in the Middle East, it will be difficult to come up with a plan of any kind, that won't include disasterous results of some kind.

thanks Q. This will probably be just another Republican non investigation, investigation, like 9/11, and their emergency investigation into their "Ethically Challenged" House Members, LMAO!

They always stage a big hullabaloo, staging some in depth investigation, and then they turn right around and give Bush new laws, to help him cover his a$$....All that big uproar about torture, and Habeas Corpus...then King George gets the green light!
