It is quite common that players have different opinions, concepts about
'aiming',and they use various methods of various angles of 90,75,60
etc degrees;edges,points of contact etc.
We usually attribute our 'miss' or the 'incapacity' to pocket a ball
to all such elements like'' wrong angle'', ''lack of concentration'',
''faulty stance'' etc. and at last ''bad luck''.
But based upon my years of research, Iam of strong established
opinionthat what actually matters is only two things.
One, ''the correct line of the cue ball'' and the second, 'the process
of sending the cue ball in the right direction.'
My research esablishes that there can be only two reasons for a 'miss'
in the game.
1}the inability to decide the correct 'line of the cue ball.'
2}in case the direction being right,it should be the inability to send
the cue ball in that direction.[the first one is 'theoretical',and the
second is 'practical']
The first draw back can be corrected by practice, advice or
observation.
Where as the second one is the real, or the 'gaint problem.[ Some may
feel, given the direction,it is easy to hit.I advise such players to
remember their simple, miserable misses in crucial moments which they
felt the most unwanted ones.] Because it is the problem of
'execution','the real 'action',a practical one.
It not only involves our 'physical attention' but also ,even more of,
our 'mental attention'
My research gives the key to this mysterious problem of
'inconsistency'.
The key is nothing but a a 'smple geometric routine' which we must
allow our brain to complete.
When we allow our mind ,without getting distracted or disturbed,to
follow it's 'geometric routine'[this is what exactly we call it
''concentration'' ] ,we are sure to pocket the ball, irrespective of
it's position.
When ,disturbed by the elements like doubt, tension etc,we will not
allow the mind to follow it's 'geometric routine' [ it is what we call
''lack of concentration'' ] we fail to pocket the ball.
[This ,in turn, causes ''tension'',''frustation'',''loss of
confidence'' etc.]
My 'aiming system'explains clearly as to what that 'geometric routine'
is.
In general, whenever we concentrate,we will be pocketing the balls. But
with the knoweldge of this 'geometric pattern',we can knowingly
concentrate whenever we want to pocket the balls.!!!!!!
[in other words we come to know the real ' secret of concentration' or
the very 'science of the game'. And that we don't need any different
'aimings' for the balls in different positions--the same pattern for
all balls, say ,a long shot ,a double, or or a hook etc!! What changes
is only the line of the CB]
