View Full Version : Best car in the 25K to 30K range?

I don't believe in financing a car. I always pay cash and hold on to the car for about 10-11 years. Anyway, it's time to buy another one and I have pretty much set my heart on a new Accord EX V6 4 door loaded to the gills.

I plan on keeping my '96 Subaru Outback as a reliable second car. It still runs perfectly well but I'm just itching for a new ride.

Are there any other cars out there that could give me as much for my money while being as reliable and retain as much of their original price?

You may want to look at some of the Honda's.
I have never had one, but I understand they hold up extremely well and are very reliable.

Take a look at that new Saturn Aura. I have owned Saturns for the past 10 years. Change the oil regularly and I have seen a lot of owners get over 200,000 miles. (I know of one owner that actually got 500,000, but that is an exception)

I've always felt that, for $25K, a full-size pickup gives you the most for your money in a new vehicle. Almost everything else will be a front-wheel-drive POS maintenance nightmare deathtrap /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

On a side note I still can't figure out why they ban cigs and soon trans fat as well becuase they are harmfull to people but not the cars that cause all the pollution and harms people as much if not more then Cigs and trans fats.
