wow, what a bracket this one is:

Johnny Archer v Charlie Williams with the winner playing the winner of Stalev v Diks

I've got my picks all the way through, only a couple of surprises that I predict (and some aren't as surprising as most would think.) Here are my key matches and who I think will win them. Note that I'm trying to remain objective here, but there are some players that I just don't know and some that I know a bit too well to remain objective.

Robles over Knight in the second round
Reyes over souquet in the second and Robles in the third, Reyes wins the top quarter

Williams over Archer in the first round
Stalev over Williams in the second
Luat over Alcaide in the third round
Stalev over Luat in the fourth and winning the second quarter

mini-upset of the tourney: Hohman over Jones in the second round
Strickland over Lely in the 4th round to win the third quarter

Pagulayan over Varner in the second round.
Upset of the Tourney-Pagulayan over Deuel in the third round
Pagulayan over Immonen in the fourth round to win the bottom quarter leaving

Reyes v Stalev and Strickland v Pagulayan

as the final four.

After I'm shown how wrong I am, I'll repick my tourney ending with a 25% chance of being right....lol

oops, that must have been posted right when I was figuring out my picks. hmmm change that to

Okimura over Daulton in the third round
Pagulayan over Okimura in the fourth...

ROFL, I knew I would pick some of them wrong, I just didn't think the first match in my picks would be wrong....

O.K., quarter final match ups:

Reyes vs. Bustey
Archer vs. Feijen
Strickland vs. Takahashi
Deuel(Duel/Dual/Doall/Due-oil) vs. Daulton

Archer to win! -We'll see....

Eric >can only pick winners after the fact

Souquet just got knocked out too. I would not have believed Mika, Ralf and Niels all losing in the first round.

hmmm maybe I shoulda laid some wagers, I was 18-14, (and I picked Immonen, Souquet and Feijin also) with no pick over 2 games wrong. (9-2 real score was picked in the range (9-0/9-4)

The shocker to me is that Diks beat Stalev...oh, and the Immonen thing...
