I used to love watching their movies. I saw Ollie in the Fighting Kentuckian with John Wayne and was surprised that it was a serious role. I never knew he did anything else but comedy.

I had forgotten about that one. Me too, I always associated them with comedy. I can't think of many films that beat March of the Wooden Soldiers. Every child should see that.

March of the Wooden Soldiers - was that the one where they played little kids dressed as they were as adults? They played 2 roles. I know I saw it but it's been too many years.

Keep your eyes open for it this Thanksgiving. They usually play it then and at Christmas. Remember them turning the keys of the wooden soldiers and starting them marching to fight off the evil villan? That was a classic scene. The film took place in a fantasy land called Toyland where the characters were all Mother Goose characters.
