I just got a used bar size table made by the Amercian shuffle board co. out of new jersey it is from around the 1960 era and the coin opp still works and takes 20 cents to work. the ball returns all work fine and i have the keys for the access doors.i paid $150 for the table and got a quote of $200 for a new cloth being put on.so did i get a good buy or did a get taken? any responces are welcomed and appreciated.

Sounds like a great deal. How did you run across it?

it was cheap but the deal was we had to get it out of a basement from a very old house. it is amazing what 4 very big guys on a mission can get done. we un bolted the legs and carrried it out in one piece with no damage /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

well the table has been recovered. the service man said that this one is from the 50,s to early 60,s new cloth and pocket liners 250 so i thought it was a good deal. he said he thinks that it still has the original rail bumpers but they still preform well, he tested it when done and got seven rails on the shot so they still have lots of life in them.he buys and sells tabels and for one this old that still has working coin slot he would have no trouble getting a thousand out of it,so i am happy camper here. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
