If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have $16.50 of the original $1,000.00. With Worldcom, you would have less than $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Blockbuster Video ran a promotion with Coca-cola around here a short while ago. One could buy a 12 pack of 12oz Coca-Cola cans for $2.50 and get a coupon for a free video rental. Since it cost $3.25 just to rent a video, I started drinking a lot of Coca-Cola for free while watching home movies at a discount.

C J, nope he's broke from buying beer! lol
Sid, yes but if you had bought several thousand shares of M/Soft when it was a penny stock, you could buy your local beer distributor. lol

Fold it in half, put it back in your pocket.
Ya know, Sid? If there were an easy way, I guess everyone would do it!
