I just heard tonight from an IPT pro that the December monthly installment payment was received...by him at least.

It is interesting that the IPT would pay out ANY money unless it felt it could continue in business...at least is some scaled down fashion.

Otherwise, one would think that it would have just filed for bankruptcy and be done with it.

The Soap Opera continues.

It sure would be nice to be able to sit in on a board meeting that KT is conducting to hear just what he has planned for the future.

You are right it is a soap opera. Suspense, drama, sex, threats of violence, with a little pool tossed in for good measure. Lately, very little pool.

It was fun while it lasted and for an outsider he sure did have a lot of good ideas.

it is good to hear that the players are getting their promised money even if it is not the way it should have happened !

It is illegal in vegas to not pay off gambling winnings, thus KT is paying to avoid the 300 or so felonies he could have been charged with!!!

I doubt that the IPT Tournament would fall under the definition of gambling. I would imagine that the "failure to pay gambling winnings" pertains to the casinos.

But that will all be moot when the players receive all of their winnings.

Right Jake. When one party has the sole obligation to pay the other party...i.e. the IPT was obligated to pay the players...they were not obligated to pay the IPT if they lost...then there is no "gambling."
