The mini tournaments start tonight and the tournament starts tomorrow around noon or 1pm.

With all the money that the Seminole Tribe has rolling in from all the people who come down to Miami and Tampa to gamble at their casinos maybe they will increase their commitment to pool next year.

It looks like the money is coming in faster than they can spend it. They just spent $195 million to buy the Hard Rock Cafe and they still have money left over.

Now Max is bragging on how they will take over Manhattan "one hamburger at a time". Better watch it all you people up there the Indians are out for your scalps.:)

That is one sweet deal the Seminole Tribe has made with Florida. The Indians have exclusive rights to all gambling casinos. They sure have learned the art of making a deal since they gave away Manhattan.

JJinFla nobody can compete with the Pequot Tribe who own Foxwood. I have heard there are only 195 members in the tribe, if they really are a tribe.####

Harold, You know that everyone is welcome to come here and play in the tour. C'mon up.

I hear the tour will be bigger and better next year. Hopefully they will have more stops and I hear the Seminole Tribe is committed to help them even more. Especially with advertising. Now if they can only get a contract with ESPN and have the players really hustle and get the fans involved the men can have a good chance to make some really good money at this game that they all love.

There was a pretty good crowd of spectators at Capone's this time. All 16 seats sold out at $20 each and are sold out for today also. Rocky needs to add more seats. There was a $10 charge for spectators to watch the pros play and as far as I know no one hesitated in paying it.

Earl Strickland was in grand form yesterday. Really seemed happy and sure was shooting lights out. Everything just looked so easy for him. He has really customized his Cuetec cue. The break cue is 55 inches and only 16 oz with about a 24 inch taper. 13 mm. His playing cue is 12 mm.

Corey Deuel has everyone confused with the soft break. His first match was with Thorsten Hohman and it was back and forth but Corey ended up the winner.

Tony Crosby was ahead of Dennis Hatch 6-3 (race to 7) and then Dennis caught fire and got it to hill-hill. The final game Hatch kept hiding the CB until Tony missed his OB. Dennis then played a safe on the 3 ball putting it on the rail behind two other balls. Tony missed the 3 then Hatch played an intentional foul by hitting the 5 ball next to the 3 ball. Now the 3 ball was on the rail and 3 balls surrounded it making it impossible to hit the 3 ball. Tony tried a jump shot where he could hit the 3 from above but missed giving Dennis the set.

After the match John DiToro tried the jump into the 3 and made it.

Too many good players here for me to watch them all.

Tony has results on his website:

Hey Jake

Watch out! You might get banned if you want to know the score like I did at Inside Pool? LOL I posted a link to the scores on AZ and JR banned me for life. Pool lives in ignorance. So does Inside Pool Magazine.

How did CW do? Are you going back today?

Jake,

I hope you have fun today! Someone by the name of Rick Davis is reporting on Inside Pool's main page but it's only
one paragraph with no scores. Just about the speed of money losing magazine.

There are scores on "The Sniper's" web site. Very nice of him to take time to post some information. Charlie? Charlie who? LOL To bad. Have a good time I will IM you if I see you on line later.

Well I saw some pretty good pool the last two days. Rocky's boys, Robb & Earl, came in one two. When down to the last three, Earl, Robb & Corey, Earl played Robb and lost. Then Earl rolled over Corey. Then Earl lost to Robb giving Robb the Championship. That was a pretty nice Christmas present Earl gave Robb. Anyway, they kept 1st and 2nd at Capone's.

Earl was in superior behavior and top playing mode on Saturday. Played great on Sunday too but you could see his mood swing.

In the final set, the second rack, Earl got down, then got up and accused Robb of reaching for his water bottle.

That was it. I knew the match was over. The fix was in. There was no way Earl was going to win. He would find all kinds of excuses to lose. And sure enough he started talking with the crowd. Accusing them of wanting him to lose, etc, etc. Just the old crazy Earl.

Well, I actually feel sorry for the man. He just can't control his mood swings at all. All that talant and it just goes to waste.

Not to take anything away from Robb. He sure did play excellent all weekend. He deserves the win. And the money. $5,000 for 1st. $3,000 for 2nd.

I got to meet the lovely Sarah Rousey too.

And Don (the Preacher) Feeney was there. And when he went up to Earl, Earl recognized him and said, "Preacher, I thought you were dead". It made the Preacher's day to be remembered by the great Earl.

Well, I have had my pool fix to last me for a while so now it is back to playing the game.

At some time one has to realize that you cannot defend the undefendable.
