Yes, and I also met Jane Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn and Tim Robbins, but the best moment was talking with a soldier whom I had met originally at Walter Reed. He was finally walking again, although on artificial legs, and holding his banner high. I was so glad to see him!!! It was funny, he said, "Gee Gayle, I didn't know you were against bush and the war." And I said the same to him. We were able to hook up later for dinner, and I learned that he's a pool shooter. He and his wife are going to come and spend a weekend with us soon. They came all the way from South Carolina. There were quite a lot of Iraqi veterans marching with us. There will be many more demonstrations to come.
