View Full Version : Centennial/Century cushions

Does anyone have experience playing on this now-obsolete cushion profile?
In particular, are the banks true? Is a significant difference noted in routine practice/play compared to K-55 or 66's?
Is the beginner or intermediate player likely to notice a difference?

I have played a lot on the Century & have never noticed anything other than very true banks. But, this table was always in a controlled environment, ie, no excessive moisture or dampness. My guess would be that only the very elite would be able to note any difference in speed. Hope this helps.

I'm building a practice table, and considering using them if they play true.
From their profile, it appears that no beveling of the sub-rail would be needed.
Thanks for the input.
