View Full Version : Websites advertising discounts
Hello,
I wanted to see if you guys go to any websites to look for random discounts on computer hardware/software products. The two sites I go to the most often are:
<ul type="square"> Woot (http://www.woot.com/) - Usually random stuff and not necessarily has anything to do with computers, hardware/software, periphery. Ben's Bargains (http://bensbargains.net/) - Once on this website I usually click "forums" on the right navigation and then go to the "Hot Deals" forum. [/list]
What other sites do you guys go to?

There are at two deal sites I like a lot better than Ben's Bargains. These are fatwallet.com and slickdeals.net.
It seems like the deals often don't hit the Ben's Bargains site until a day later than Fatwallet or Slickdeals. This means that, on Ben's Bargains, you may not get notified until the deal is dead or until the guys on FW or SD have already snapped up the goods.
Another thing I didn't like about Ben's Bargains was that there always seemed to be a percentage of really lame deals getting front-page attention - possibly due to the admin pulling strings.
Regarding the two recommended sites, I prefer SD because it seems a little more intuitive to navigate and the type of deals most often found suit me more. FW does seem to get things a tiny bit faster, though.

Great info, I will check them out.
