Moving co. destroyed Brunswick snooker table

I bought a 5 x 10 Brunswick snooker table in excellent condition (approx 40 years old)at an estate sale for $500. I think it is a Sport King. I hired a billiards company to move it.....and it fell out of their truck and was destroyed on the highway. They are not insured or bonded.
My home insurance say they will cover it, but their "experts" have to determine the value.
How do I find out the value? I have searched all over the internet and can't find any values.
Also, what would replacement value be?

Sorry to hear about that; what a horrible loss! Can't believe that the guy you hired isn't insured and won't take responsibility for the loss!

May I suggest that you check Blatt Billiards, a restoration house in NYC? I recall they have a web site you can google. You might also do a search on ebay for Brunswick Pool Tables as there are several restorers that sell tables on there and may be able to direct you to someone if they can't help you themselves.
