Here is another vintage cue purchased by my friend.
Meucci fans are sorta hard to figure aren't they?
Anyone remember this model or have any ID information on it or similar cues.

I played with this one a little and it hits great!
It does NOT have a red dot or a black bulls eye shaft and the tip looks different than anything I have seen before, of course the tip and shaft do not necessarily need to be the originals but they do combine to make a sweet feel.

One of my friends says he thinks this cue is from around 1983.
Do any of you have any info at all concerning the "Mike Massey by Meucci" line?

Come on!
Somebody must have some knowledge about the "Mike Massey" cues made by Meucci.......
It could be that it is from the 1970's when everyone was at a disco or even chilled out at a rock concert or maybe at a Viet Nam war protest or possibly at a Jimmy Carter fund raiser.....?????

I relly was a Meucci-freak when I was young *hmm*, well I still get a little soft in the knees when an oldie is handed to me. Memories I guess.

Sorry to say I donīt remember Massey-cues. Howard, Jones, Jones, Rempe etc. but Massey.. sorry.

Hope you get a hit, but this forum is not the most cue - tech - craft - history-oriented.

Tom...PM Tate, or post this on AzBilliards. He is very knowledgeable about Meucci cues...among many others.

Thanks Scott,
I have been considering posting other places but until now wasn't sure where to start.
Appreciate the tip.

Thanks,
Per Scott Lee's suggestion I posted the pictures on AZBilliards Forum and PM's Tate plus sent an inquiry to Meucci Cues in Mississippi.

Apparently this cue is more rare than we had originally expected. So far no one has come forward with any info.

I will also send an inquiry to Mike Massey and see if he remembers...he he /ccboard/images/graemlins/cool.gif
