Hi I am new to the forum. I am planning on buying a used table for my new house. I found two tables both are 4 1/2 x 9'. one is the century model and the other is a VIP. Which one is a better table? they are both about the same price. Your input is greatly appreciated. thanks, carl

I think the Century is the better model, and was later changed into the Centurion model.
Be careful if you are buying off Ebay!!!

I have a Brunswick Century. It's the 3rd 9 ft table I've had in my life and the best one also. The main difference between the Century and the GC is the casing that goes around the table. It's laser level and if you hit too hard into the pockets, it gets spit out. The pockets are not buckets either. I would give this table an A.
Good luck in your shopping. Either way, you're going to have a lot of fun!
