TV on PC???

I can input tv with my tuner card....but just downloaded the free tv-toolbar app, and player...
I'm listening to radio on that right now...watched a documentary, and a few minutes of a 1974 Green Hornet (with Bruce Lee as Kato)...so far, so good....
But I'm concerned...it's just too good to be free....what's the catch? anybody familiar with this?
Worldwide TV also...SalaamTV from Iran...Brigham Young Tv
Maybe I'm watching free TV, and they are watching my internet banking transactions?
