Didn't get any real repsonse on the newbie board, so I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with the following tables.

I am in the process of looking for a used billiard table. I have come across two used tables. The first is a Mr. Billiard (http://www.mrbilliard.com/b-cart/Product.asp?pid=TBL-25) Ambrosia modelthat is at least 6 years old and the other is a Proline (http://www.prolinebilliards.com/billiards/shopexd.asp?id=12&bc=no) St. Johns with light oak veneer that was purchased from a show room 3 years ago. Both are 8' tables and 3-piece slate, I believe both have 1" slate. The owner of the Mr. Billiards table has a ping pong table that gets placed on top of it, which I don't care about.

What's your opinion?

I agree. I have a friend that sells these tables and I have set up a few with him. They do make a nice table for the cash!
