Just wondering people's thoughts on who will win the World Pool Championship in Manila, Phillipines this year? I think Ronnie Alcano or Efren are the favorites but Taiwan also has some dangerous cueists as well. Does anyone from the U.S. have a legitimate chance or is the Asian and european field just too powerful? Maybe Archer or Cory for the U.S.?

I would expect the home field advantage to be too much for others to overcome.

Don't count out Shane Van Boening who beat Alcano twice at the US Open. Right now I'm not sure how he's making out.
