I have a basic zachow cue with a 5/16x14 piloted stainless steel joint. I would like to have an ivory joint put on. I would also like to get this cue back as soon as possible being that I work in Afghanistan and will only be home for three weeks. So my question to ya'll is who do you recommend for the job?

Thanks Everyone, John

Since there are numerous Pool Cue Repairmen, in the USA, one way to shorten the in-out time, would be to limit the distance between you & the person that's going to repair your cue. Give us an idea (landmark) where you live.

I live in Texas. I know there are a lot of cue makers in the states. I was looking for past experiences ya'll had with the cue makers that you sent your cue to. But I think I'm gonna go with proficient billiards because I have seen there name on here many times with satisfied customers. Or I will go with Jerry Powers of Jerico cues since I've been to his house before and he is only an hour away.
