Hi,
I was wondering if anyone would know where I would be able
to access a list of billiard champions from the 1930's.
My grandfather was a champion around this time, there
are pictures of the cups he won. He was living in Montreal,
Quebec, Canada at the time. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Do you know which game he played? The choices would probably be carom (French) billiards, English billiards, pool, and snooker.

Unless he was an international champion, I think your best chance is to look through the old newspapers in Montreal. What was his name?

Dear Bob,
Thank you for answering, he was a billiard champion.
He also taught billiards. His name was James Martin Kelly.
I will check the archives for the newspapers.
Thank you
