I have been playing on and off for years and have a cheap (not sure what brand stick) I bought years ago but want another one. I play in some pool halls but mostly bars and have been known to own the table for hours if I am on...just looking for a cheap beginner stick under 70 bucks. I already have a expensive softball habit so just wanna keep this cheap been looking at some viper cues and players cues for like 60 bucks any suggestions???

Players makes two Sneaky Petes. The more expensive one (around $70) is a much better stick than the cheap one ($45).

For the money, I don't think you can go wrong with the Player's SP.

You may get the best bang for your buck on an auction site like eBay. You might find a nice used higher end cue and be able to sell or trade it for what you have invested if you upgrade. Better than spending $60 on a cheap cue IMO.

There are some fairly decent inexpensive cues out there.. Players or Cuetec on the low end, Fury and Lucasi for a little more.

Thanks for the replies to the original poster. I am in about the same boat.
