Did any of you score pool Xmas presents from Santa? Wudjagit?

I got lucky and the lovely wife got a bunch of great reading pool books for me. The Pool Room by Sid Ragland;
The Hustler & The Champ by R.A. Dyer; Road Player-The Danny Diliberto Story by Jerry Forsyth; Running The Table by L. Jon Wertheim (Danny Basavich story).

I hope you scored and got lucky. Maybe I can score again later this afternoon. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I had my 1970's Viking and my McDermott D Series refurbished and a new low deflection shaft for the McDermott. A three cue 5 shaft case and a few other billiard toys. I haven't gotten a Christmas present in more then 20 years, my choice, and I feel a bit guilty mentioning it here as it sounds like bragging and I know there are less fortunate then me who are morereci deserving who received nothing.

I got a book on Kid Delicious called Running the Table. Good so far through 3 chapters.

And my g/f got me a very sweet Schmelke 2b/2s hard case. It is so incredibly awesome. She really suprised me with it. Its got a side area for chalk, a hand towel, etc. Very sweet.

Here's pics.

I tell my family No! regarding gifts related to pool. I tell them I want to pick out my own stuff! Otherwise, I end up with things I don't want or use. To my wife, a cue stick is a cue stick....and of course she's probably right!

My wife got me another Meucci HOF-1. I had had one years ago, and let a friend talk me out of it. I always regretted that, so she got me a new one
