Yes, oil revenue has been more or less flat due to terrorism. Despite the bleatings of the sheeple there is zero evidence that the US has even made oil production a top priority ... much less try to steal it.

Did the MSM tell you that in 2003 there was ZERO (http://www.mnf-iraq.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemi d=8) privately owned media while today there are 54 commercial TV stations, 268 independent newspapers or magazines, and 114 commercial radio stations along with over 2,500 internet cafes?

The situation is so bad in Iraq that thousands of people who fled during Saddam's reign of terror have returned to start businesses. The 20% Kurdish minority, who were savaged by Saddam, are enjoying an economic and social renaissance after their long nightmare. Their cities are secure and thriving.
The Dems and the MSM are invested in portraying an image of Iraq as a bomb-cratered wasteland where marauding bands of US GI's murder, and torture with impunity, while Iraqi's cower in the shadows, sifting through the garbage for a crust of bread.
Then, if Hillary or Obama become President, overnite Iraq will become a peaceful and prosperous ally. And, of course, this overnite success will happen because of the intelligence and insight of the new President.

I heard it from HILLARY (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gunAMUT6GsM&amp;eurl=http://stoptheaclu.com/archives/2008/01/13/hillary-takes-credit-for-surge-she-opposed/) on 1/13/08 that the progress in Iraq was only because Iraq was working feverishly for progress in anticipation of her election.

Heaven knows Iraq might land a man on Mars by November with the promise of Hillary Warrior Princess's ascension to power!

My God, how does she come up with this crap? Only a few short months ago she was pronouncing the surge a failure and Petraeus a liar. Now she is saying that of course she knew the surge could work, and further, that Iraqi political progress is happening because they are listening to her. Incredible!

Now, how long before she takes credit for the surge?
