I have often wondered this. There are a lot of black players and I think a good black cuemaker could carve out a nice nitch for himself. Especially if he adopted designs reflecting his heritage.

Hmmm..Lets see now...theres Richard Black in Texas. and Thomas Wayne in Alaska is married to a black woman (he would probably be the best bet)...but speaking as a "Black" american pool player I feel that my heritage probably mirrows most other pool players...I guess I don't go for the "niche" designs... gimme some ol' regular points and inlays....just one persons humble opinion /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif

You are familiar with FUBU, I think that is what it is called. I think it would be natural for a black player to patronize a good black cuemaker, all things being equal. I hope this is not some kind of incorrect thing to say, but if I were black, I would.
