Now is our chance to get into the action of making our own game work for us... Let's be the leaders (CCB members) in this effort..

We have a strong following of very good people here.. lets get onboard with this effort.. We can keep our own little side rankings going and have some real fun...

www.fantasy9ball.com (http://www.fantasy9ball.com) will be online Monday Aug 5th in the AM.. take some time to check it out.. and at least register for their BBS to have some serious "woofing" about our picks.. See ya there.

hi tom hows it going? don't see you around RSB much anymore. anyway, i like your suggestion, in fact if all the CCB'ers join in there is a decent chance for one of them to take second place. and, being a good sport, any CCB'ers who join can play for free on the new pool table i am going to win playing for team RSB!!! /ccboard/images/icons/smile.gif let the woofing begin!

warren..<-- i might claim tom, fred, and bob jewett for team RSB so don't fill out your rosters yet!

PS -- when mike told me about this a while ago i told him "will i be allowed to join, or is that not fair to everyone else who will be playing for 2nd place?!" hows that for woofing!

PSS -- i've got the power of biorhythms on my side

I went and joined www.fantasy9ball.com, and made my choices for the players to win. Also joined the forum they have. The site looks great, and looks to be a great idea! I for one, am going to participate as often as possible. If you go there now, participating in the fantasy9ball is free for the first tournament. It will be a lot of fun. Check it out!!!

How will it work for us?

Alfie,
You ask two very good questions.

Why is it our game? because WE are the players, We participate in this game. WE can compete with other players from around the world.. and never leave our computer..

How will it work for us? WE get to be involved with the fun about the game we all know.. Pool and its Pro Players. More exposure for the Players that get involved. More exposure for the game itself. Lots of positive exposure is offered at this site.

www.fantasy9ball.com (http://www.fantasy9ball.com) gives us this opportunity. I hope you will share your expectations with us about your picks on the upcoming tournaments.

Lets not make more out of this than what it is, i.e., minor league gambling (with the requisite winners and losers). If fantasy leagues are your thing, then go for it. As for me, I can be just as interested and involved in pool and the pro tour without having to give these guys $50/year.

Are you really that interested? OK, I'll take the guy who is ranked higher, every time.

Alfie,

Fair enough. To each his own.. Your interests are different than mine..

If you want to continue to post on this subject, I will be respectful enough to read and reply when I feel the urge.
