Ya it's too generic... colors and layout kinda sux, maybe tehre is a way to tweak it. looks like you do more with this new UBB though.

Yes, I hate them. I will try and fool with the layout but this is definitely a negative change.

agreed. One of my favorite things about this forum was the layout that it had... mainly because it WAS older. I'm sure it will be fine once we all get used to it, but I sure did love the old simple layout.

Dick, I think you may have uncovered the hidden gem of this new board....the ignore button. I'm working on my list right now....but those two are #'s 1 and 2.

I've noticed the improvement in readability on the board already.

Maybe I am missing it but when you look at the list of posts in a thread how do you tell immeadiately which ones are brand new? On the previous board it was quite easy to tell just looking at them.

It looks like it could be an IM type idea for those logged currently logged in. I don't know though.

Dick, you merely click on the user's name, and it's in the menu.
You'll still see that they have replied, or posted, but the text won't be available.....unless you hit the toggle switch....it's really a "junk mail" feature....open at your own risk.
Sure does make the board a little more pleasant, if there are posters that you find annoying

find it difficult reading the text on this new forum?
I've been posting a lot lees lately and I think the main reason is that when I start reading the posts everything starts running together for me and I quit.

Just wonder if anybody else is finding that to be true?
