Q,
With all the time you must spend digging up conspiracy theories, when do you ever find time to play pool???

You don't have to dig to find GOP scandals, you just scratch the surface. Just visit sites like Crooks and Liars and Raw Story and you will get the news that the mainstream media ignores or just distorts.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work out what happened. Its pretty obvious why they didn't want to show it! It was a dumb move because it has only drawn more attention to the story.
You could check out the 60 minutes video?

Here is a taster of what this is all about .
ie, The politicization of the justice Dept and using them to attack the Govt's political opponents.
Just watch the first video. Please. don siegelman (http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/cats/don_siegelman/)

If you know the story then you know many people conspired to put this guy in jail.
He was convicted of corruption but its an accepted fact that he never personally made one dollar from this so-called crime. Its totally absurd. If he is guilty then so is Bush. Its that simple.

Q............watch the video.

Q,
We all know the MSM has their agenda. Just like we know several posters on here do. You take it for what it is.
If you want to look at conspiracy theories, lets think about the Democratic primary. MSM has given Obama pretty much of a free ride. Everyone already knows Hillary is a socialist. Why has there been no mention of Obama's membership and activity with the Democratic Socialists of America? How about his campaign work in Kenya? His "cousin" wants to do away with any form of democracy there. Obama is so much farther to the left than Hillary (and that is pretty far left!) he actually believes we are obligated to a total redistribution of wealth in this country. This is straight from the Marxist philosophy. Why hasn't the MSM mentioned any of this? Are they waiting for Obama to get the nomination so they can rip him apart? Do they secretly want McCain to be president? Or do they want Obama to destroy everything we have built over 240 years?
If you expect the media to report the news without putting their own slant on it, you are crazy.

Did you watch the video?
If you can overlook the prosecution of political enemies by the Govt then you support the tactics of Stalin and Saddam Hussein.

The terrorists can only kill you but people like GW and his lackeys are assaulting your direct freedom everyday but you seem to be saying "roll over and submit".
They can tap your phone without a warrant, they can read your e-mail and track every website you visit, they can search your house when you are not there, they can arrest you and disappear you and you have will have no rights at all. They can use the DoJ to persecute [ and imprison ] your choice for Congress or Govnr or President.

The case of D Siegelman is classic GW Govt. Lies, lies and more lies.
How can these people call themselves Christians when they openly sin ?
One of the Commandments states that a person "shall not bare false witness"
Watch the video and get back to me.

All this should not be a problem, wheather it is Don Siegelman or any other felon soon.

I watched a speech by Angela Davis where she advocates the abolishment of the criminal justice system as it is not effective. So, we just release all these people, regardless of crime or the risk of re-offense into the community simply because it is not their fault as they are victims of our oppressive government. In fact, she has said that most people of color are de facto political prisoners.

So, if Don did not commit a crime and now actually profiting is the new burden of proof, I say let him out along with the others as we adjust the criminal justice system to non incarceration type punishments. I might recommend that persons convicted of rape, for instance, be fined $120 if their adjusted gross income is less than $30,000 and $75.000 if their adjusted gross income is over $300,000. After all, that is a more reasonable re-distribution of the wealth or poverty of punishment.

How many more victims of the right wing have to occur before real justice is metted out? Open the doors....

Of course, Congress has set their valuable time on real important crimes like baseball players taking muscle enhancing drugs. Maybe they could use a few themselves.

Q,
You seem to take great pleasure in pointing out what you think is wrong with our country, so let me ask you a couple of questions.
Have you got your prayer rug yet?
Do you know which direction it is to Mecca?
I think you have plenty to be concerned about right in your own back yard.

Great point, pootchr, about the Netherlands.
The country is an Islamic demographic time bomb.
Mark Steyn has noted recently that Mohammed is now the most common name of newborn males in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
Civil liberties and rule of law, Qtec ? Hah, you'll have alot more worries than we do when sharia law is "voted in". Blog quickly, Qtec, while you still can.

One more thing, Qtec (Hello, this is a billiard magazine forum).....religious Muslims don't look kindly upon billiard playing...it's right up there with gay marriage and abortion.

So if I point out totally unAmerican actions by this Govt then I am the bad guy and therefore anti-American?
If I oppose the war then I don't support the troops?
If I am against the complete surveillance of all electronic communication of ordinary citizens then I support Al Q?
What kind of logic is that?
Those strawman arguments don't wash anymore

The problem is not America but the extremist cabal who have grabbed power and made a total mess of everything they have touched over the last 7 years.

.

Does this ring a bell?

[ Notice it says ALL MEN, not just US citizens!]

Later on it says,
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury:</div></div>
Has the present Govt lived up to these two principals?

You still haven't answered my main Q. Did you watch the video?

What's special about the DS case is that it a clear and provable case of the Govt breaking the Law and more importantly it fly's in the face of the US CON - something GW has sworn to uphold and protect.

The report’s findings provide an even more damning indictment of the intelligence community than many had predicted. Sen. Bob Graham, former head of the Senate intelligence committee, says the report proves the 9/11 attacks could have been stopped.

The investigation was based on the interviews of hundreds of U.S. and foreign officials and a review of hundreds of thousands of FBI and CIA files.

The scathing critique of the CIA and the FBI finds the agencies did not talk to each other at critical junctures, most notably on intelligence related to two of the Sept. 11 hijackers.

The FBI missed evidence of its own informant who was actually living with two of the hijackers in San Diego.

The agency failed to keep tabs on warnings that Omar al-Bayoumi, a key associate of two of the hijackers and suspected Saudi government secret agent, met with Saudi government officials and the hijackers.

The FBI missed the opportunity in large part because the CIA had failed to share information about the hijackers it had two years prior to the attacks.

The report concluded that the informant’s contacts with the two hijackers would have offered, “the best chance to unravel the Sept. 11 plot.”

The report also raises more questions about a foreign government’s complicity in the attacks: longtime U.S. ally, Saudi Arabia.

The report finds that the Saudi Arabian government thwarted efforts to prevent the rise of Al-Qaeda and stop attacks as well as provided financial and logistical support to the Saudi-born 9/11 hijackers. 15 of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were Saudi Arabian.

Large sections of the report explaining how the Saudis did not cooperate remains classified. The Washington Post reports an entire 28-page section detailing whether Saudi Arabia was somehow implicated in 9/11 is missing. This despite a seven-month campaign by congressional investigators and others to have them made public.

The CIA argued that disclosure of the details could upset relations with a key US ally.

The report goes on to say that Bush was warned in a more specific way than previously known about intelligence suggesting that al Qaeda terrorists were seeking to attack the U.S.

Meanwhile, the White House resisted efforts to pin down Bush’s knowledge of the threats and to catalogue his pre-Sept. 11 counter-terrorism strategy.

Finally the report reveals that U.S. intelligence had no evidence that Iraq or Saddam Hussein had any involvement in the attacks or connection to Al Qaida.

In my original post it shows a direct link to a Saudi!

Two things never mentioned on Fox, Oil and Saudi Arabia.

I think much like the British said of the Scots, the Muslims seem to say of the Dutch, "If we can't chase them out, we'll breed them out." It seems a pretty effective strategy lately.

What part of 'ALL MEN" don't you understand?
Show me where it says in the DoI that these "inalienable rights" apply ONLY to Americans?......and you have the nerve to call ME an argumentative nitwit!!

What I realise [ and obviously you don't] is that Americans have something unique in the USCON. It used to be set of laws guaranteeing certain rights that the Govt cannot take away from you.
Now, according to the present CIC the USCON is outdated and just basically just a bit of paper.

If you are going to reply, try and say something sensible that has actually got something to do with the thread.

The man has duel nationality. Why else would he have to register a birth by a foreign embassy?
He is a Dutch citizen, a city councilor no less, who wants a Moroccan passport for his baby and is complaining to the Dutch Govt that the Moroccans have a list of names he has to use!!!!!?
Is this a joke?

The Dutch will accept ANY name as long as it is not insulting. Its the Moroccan Embassy that has a list of approved names! If a person wants to use a name NOT on the list, they have to pay extra.[ I don't know why ]
If he doesn't want the M Govt dictating to him he then should just give up his own M passport and enrole his kid as a Dutch citizen. We have no list of names that you have to use. Problem solved.
