View Full Version : Chat with Jimmy Reid review

02-29-2008, 04:44 PM
Jimmy Reid, who was awarded onepocket.org's "Lifetime Pool in Action award" this year, and who is referred to by peers as "The Best Money Player In The World For Over 25 Years," has decided to host a weekly online chat for both free and paid members of his freepoollessons.com website!

Sadly, I was tardy to class last night (15 minutes), but was able to gain insight from Jimmy on such topics as:

* How to think through a rack and let opponents know they're over matched
* A unique tip how to win in 8 ball- even when you've got the wrong balls
* How to handle pressure situations
* Grip hand fundamentals
* Action stories from "The Crossroads'' in Ft. Lauderdale
* How to wish an opponent "Good Luck" and mean it

Shoot, Jimmy even shared a story with Nick Varner, Mike Sigel, and Jim Rempe from Strawberry's one-pocket Tournament in Del, MD back in 94- a story illustrating why the world called Sigel "Captain Hook" back then.

If he gets a big enough audience, Jimmy said he may even hold the chats twice a week! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
