Ok this is not a real emergency but it must have happened a million times. So what are the fast action first aid techniques? I would run for three rolls of paper towels and then hit with my small hand held vacuum. Any other ideas.

I thought you'd get at least several responses, so I held off. The only thing I could say is to get a clean towel, wet it and vigorously clean the spot ASAP, followed by a second towel. Fact is you probably have a permanent stain, yet that's the best advice I could give. I apologize for not sending this while the cloth was still fresh with the damp stain...sid

Not a problem on my table... I have Brunswick Centennial cloth, liquid just beads up, just hit it with a towel and keep playing..

I would try using Chalk-Off or that other cloth cleaner.
These are Dry Cleaning in a can. It should do a good job. I have used Chalk-Off and it is very good product.
I have no intrest in them

Don't forget that the makers/sellers of Chalk Off ripped off the guy selling Quick Clean and used his commercials to sell their product. Don't buy Chalk Off!
