Has anyone heard any of the out comes of the matches played this past week end.

I searched the Internet and found ZIP!
Only stuff announcing the scheduled event and how to buy tickets. Like the flyer that was put out by the WPBA.
I guess it should still be going on til the 13th but there should be some news about it somewhere.

Does no one know what is happening in San Diego?

Hey guys,
Thank you so much for relaying my messages-
I also want to apologize to anyone at Superbilliards/quite ashamed of my appearance - I wasnt myself-I was alittle "crazy" so, I hope I was able to say hello to everyone-you too,Denny!:)
Fred, hope you had a good time!

I hope everyone had fun:)
Spoke to Allen yesterday-he will be inducted in North Carolina ,so, we're all excited!
Again, thanks guys for your thoughts!
Have a great,great day-the SUN is out!
Carol
ps-hey,how everyone doing in pool?

Doing great in pool but missing you posting here. I think Allen is one of the better choices for HOF. Great business mind and very approachable. It's so good to see someone succeed away fomr the table in this game.

I do now have a pool stalker! Last three tournaments, a guy has followed me to them and has tried to shark me or out and out cheat. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif He has now approached the folks that run the tournaments and complained I should be barred. I almost feel honored as I never rated a stalker before... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Hiya Deeman,my friend,
I absolutely agree-he shoulda been inducted awhile ago:)-I cant wait for that million dollar tournament in Valley Forge in August-that will be the icing on the cake babes:)

(I do now have a pool stalker! Last three tournaments, a guy has followed me to them and has tried to shark me or out and out cheat. He has now approached the folks that run the tournaments and complained I should be barred.)

What the hell? He's sharking YOU and wants you barred? Thats just ridiculous-I think the tournament director should take action and have your matches watched and if anty unsportsmanlike conduct is observed, either a fine is imposed or forfeit of a match-I think your stalkers scared of your playing ability, but its still no excuse-are you allowed to wear an I-pod?
I've never been in that situation but if someone said something negative to distract me, I'd probably kill him with kindness and thank him SO MUCH,ha ha ha ha!
Go get'um Deeman!
Love ya,
Carol

Welcome back Carol!
We missed you.

Pool is great but sometimes it drives me crazy so being crazy is pretty much S.O.P. (standard operating procedure...for you non military types.)

My wife suffers from the degenerative disc disorder in the lower 3 lubars (3,4 &5) and she is miserable most of the time. I truly empathize with your struggle. Hope the surgery makes life easier for you.

Hey Tom,
I think pool makes us ALL crazy:)One day we shoot like God, then next, can't make a ball:( But its all in our hearts:):)

My heart goes out to your wife-Im in a similar situation,no discs, thats why the vertebrae keep rubbing against eachother and then the bony growths, for SOME reaon, grow towards the spinal cord and start crushing it-4 days BEFORE SBE, I was hospitalized for migraine,vomiting,fainting,un-friggin-believable-jeese-but, at least we have the reason and"they can rebuild" :):):)

When I left for San Diego, no meds and just dealt/fought off the pain-the weather was beautiful,so, that REALLY REALLY was a blessing!

Now, if they could ony give me a BIONIC arm so I could have a beautiful, consistent stroke,ha ha ah!

Pleae give your wife my thoughts and let her know my heart goes out to her!

Thank you Tom,for everything:)
Carol

Carol,

It's funny, kinda becoming a disease around here. You win three or four small tournamnets in a row and they start barring you. This guy has very little game but a lot of self worth, plays silly safeties, calls good hits bad hits, leans against the table as you shoot, you know the type. The TD has warned him but he plays dumb. It's normally just easier to throttle him in a game but late claims of bad hits are common. I say, "Why didn't you call the TD over to watch that obvious good hit?" His answer, "I didn't know it would be that close!"

Hey, if I didn't have guys like him in the deal, it would probably get boring.. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif I just never had guys come in and say, "I came to get you!" Then play like a child on crack. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/b]

Deeman, I recommend you take that guy a copy of your book and after he reads that if he still is attempting to shark you get a restraining order. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Seriously though, I would ask someone to keep an eye on a guy like that. You never know when he'll show up with a gun. There are just too many creeps in the world now-a-days.
In the old days they all work black leather jackets and of course they rode a Triumph 650 or a Harley so you could always tell who the tough guys were but now anyone can flake out on you at any time. Watch you back.

Hi Wally,
God I miss you-I think the last time we saw eachother was Peoria, huh?
Um, Michigan is June 25-29,correct-now, I know the tickets are on sale at this time for Charlotte,so,I'd say just keep an eye on the WPBA website or call the BlueChip casino-maybe they know-18888797711-

The Charlotte event has an unusual formula this year-
Stage I-from June 6-7 will be played at at a poolhall;
BCA Generationpool.com - Stage I
June 6 & 7th, 2008
Smokin' Cue - Charlotte, NC
Order your ticket's now! Limited availability.
704-548-0882 from 2pm - 2am EST VISA/MC accepted
Friday session: 4pm - 11pm
Saturday session: 10am - 11pm
$20 per day or $30 for a 2 day pass
Ticket's will be held at will call at the venue
This venue will be non-smoking during our event

Then Stage II will be played at the Charlotte convention center,so, that pretty weird, huh?

Its going to be quite interesting,though-and hey, Wally, you've always been a sweetheart and a gentlemen and always made me smile- thanks so much for the well wishes-SEE,Im smiling already!:):):)

Hope to see you RAEL soon!
love always,
Carol

Thanks Carol.

I was sorry to see the Peoria event go away. But Michigan City is actually about 50 miles closer for us.

See you in Michigan City, Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise.
