I try to search the CCB prior forum posts before posting a question that has been asked and answered before.

So far, all of my searches come back with a database error. Has anyone been successful searching this new format, or is everyone having this problem?

I have informed the system administrator and the BD manager several times. Hopefully, the problem will be fixed soon.

FYI, I keep a collection of answers to frequently asked questions from the CCB and AZB forums here:

http://billiards.colostate.edu/threads.html

This is where I usually go first (or refer people to) to find common answers to common questions, especially while the search feature is down.

"no one's minding the store" as far as the ccb. This board ain't the same since the format change, and apparently, no one in charge seems to care. Your problem is one of many. sid

It does not work for me either. One imperfect solution is to use http://www.google.com. Include "site:http://www.billiardsdigest.com/forums/" without the quotes, in your search and it should work. For example, if you wanted to see how to clean your cue's shaft type the following in the search box then hit [enter]:

clean shaft site:http://www.billiardsdigest.com/forums/

It does not work perfectly but it works OK for me.
