View Full Version : Why we are in Iraq

"Though President Bush makes no secret of the influence his faith has on his agenda, rarely has the president mixed the language of faith and God so closely with talk of war and terrorism as he did yesterday in an address to the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Tennessee. Bush defended his actions in Iraq and Afghanistan with a 42-minute address attributing his faith to his foreign policy........."

And here I thought it was just for the oil, and a chance for some "insiders" to make a quick buck.....but it's a modern version of "Kill a Commie for Christ"

I'm sick and tired of hearing about his "FAITH"

Glad his in in tact, not that it's helping the rest of the country much, while we are shelling out nearly $4.00 bucks a gallon.

81 % Of Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction. That means the nutty right wing is shrinking to 19%.

Hey, you know what's really funny is the stats the right throws out about the Congress's approval rating. Guess they are not aware of how many of them are REpublicans, who continue to vote the way Bush tells them to, and who are completely responsible for everything that our troops are going through. They have fought the Dems on everything they're trying to do for out troops. Fought against helping sick children, and fought for torture. I don't think Jesus would be very proud of Republicans, and Bush, has a lot of nerve blaming FAITH, for his illegal occupation, and his torturing policies, lying all the way.

BTW, did you read the stories of late about Bush hiding all the evidence from the American People about Maliki's corruption?

What a JOKE!
