Living in close proximity to Wright Patterson AFBhas some cool advantages.
These were taken a couple years back in the VERY early AM light from the location of the Wright Brothers monument and the world's first flight school overlooking Huffman Prairie and off in the distance the main runway.
Spaceship One, the first private craft to make space and return twice, had stopped overnight for fueling on it's way to the Smithsonian.
It was overflown on takeoff by the oldest registered aircraft in the world. Sadly I couldn't get both in one frame without resorting to a wide angle which would have made both dots.
