George had a real satire style I personally associate with, including this testimonial posted link here concerning politics, plus an obit from utube.

Martin,
I really liked Carlin. He was very intelligent. I always loved his immitation of a car, when one was trying to get it to start on cold mornings, "Leave me alo, ooo, ooo, ooo, ne." and remember when he did the one of bacon frying. What a master of comedy he was!

I wonder what killed him? Now, they are saying that Paul Newman has cancer. Another great actor/entertainer.

Heart Disease.

I saw him once in Vegas and once in Mississippi. He was entertaining.

One of the few people that could do "his thing" over a number of decades... yet still always be cutting edge to any generation. A rare find indeed, and a very powerful, funny voice that will be missed.

The news says he had lots of heart problems, so that's apparently the culprit...sid
