LWW, Nice choice on both vehicles. I really dug your post on paint protection and polishing. If i ever learn to download pictures i'll put on my Audi Rally
car. A 1983 UR Quattro.

Cheers,

LWW, Nice Miata. Sounds like major fun. The audi is set up for pavement stage racing. AWD with about 320bhp @ the wheels. New Twin turbo and direct fuel injection in the garage while i fabricate the new exhaust splitter for the turbos. It has to be balanced to avoid pressure drops and lean outs. All done more like 500bhp.

At least with cars there's no politics, unless you're a Ford man, I'm Chevy. Just kidding.

have fun it's never too late.......or early.

The Miata isn't really fast, but it's magic is that it is so light and so small you almost never have to slow down or lose momentum. It's a great car to really push honing one's driving skills and I've been a fan of lightweight roadsters since my MG Midget days. It proves the old adage that if you can't go fast with 90 HP then 900 won't do you any good.

The truck is a nice street sleeper as it appear to be just another 2..5+ land barge. The lowering actually brought the handling from abysmal to acceptable.

I'm a lifelong gearhead and too old to change.

FWIW, a Mazda is de facto a Ford and a GMC is de facto a Chevy ... so I have all bases covered.

As for my cars, just run of the mill 99 Civic EX and 2004 Accord LX. Nothing flashy there. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

You miss the point.

If you can't get down the track at max speed with 90HP then 900HP will just crash you sooner.
