View Full Version : It's official. We are in a bear market.
Oil has dropped 20% in price. (http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080806/oil_prices.html?.v=19)
Why are you so excited right now? This 20% has not resulted in a 20% price drop at the pump so who cares. It is still too freaking expensive. I say, why not save your energy till it drops to around $2/gal. Then you can say they are doing something.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
FWIW we are at $3.459 down from $4.149 here. It was down to $3.399 but jumped back up a little.

down to low $3.50's here, down from a shade under $4 not too long ago. You may recall a picture I posted of my Guiney Pigs recently (guinea pigs, deeman /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif ), still working on traning them to run the wheel. Then my biggest worry on traveling expense side of things would be the price of Kale and Timothy Hay.

I spend a bunch each month of Coastal Bermuda and Alfalfa for horses than don't leave the pasture more than once a month. I once figured DeeWoman was spending $3,900 a mile for her rides. Whoaa ther, she is a housewife, so I spend that mucha mile! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I do when I'm escaping disaster.

If anything, lww who claims to know everything about everything...shows a complete lack of understanding market dynamics with his post. It's higher oil prices that will negatively affect stock prices.
