The Obama Olympic Quest failed, not because of being low bid ... not because the rest of the world sees Obama as weak ... not because Obama has made it his foreign policy that he encourages dissing the USA ... not because the IOC is seeing the rampant violence in Chicago ... but of failed because of ...

October 2, 2009
Senator Rowland Burris of Illinois, the Senator who was appointed to fill President Barack Obama’s vacant Senate seat, blames George Bush for Chicago not getting the Olympics in 2016. Burris stated in an interview, shortly after the announcement, that the image of the U. S. has been so tarnished in the last 8 years that, even Barack Obama making an unprecedented pitch for the games could not overcome the hatred the world has for us as a result of George Bush.</div></div>

So your source is "current-movie-reviews", LOL. Can't you do better than that?

Even if he did say it, what makes you think he is wrong?

George
Bush offended the world for eight years, and we saw America's poll numbers suffer, increasingly, for eight years, all over the world, and now, the nuts from the right, want to disown all the damage from the Bush Administration, and lay the whole thing on Obama.

Bush put us into this pit, domestically, from the deficits, to the debts, to the deregulation, to the crash, to the loss of allies, and American honor, but now, they'd like us to believe, that it was all Obama's fault, although, in fact, he has already brought this country back from the brink of Bush's total financial collapse, disaster.

Republicans have no more crecibility now, than they did when no WMD's were found, no connections to al Qaeda, and no plan for the post invasion, and no way out of the multi messes they created. We are still trying to dig our way out of the multi Bush failures.

In short, Republicans are a joke, and their pundits are digging their hole deeper by the minute.

We are no where near being back from the brink.

FDIC is going bankrupt and another major financial institute is about to go belly up. If it does it will the third largest bank to every go under in America.

The unemployment rate continues to climb. If you factor in the numbers the government conveniently leaves out it is actually between 17 and 20%.

Cars for clunkers was an articficial bubble. The big 3 have seen over a 40% reduction in sales. Non union manufactures are doing better.

Entire retail chains are still going under.

Small businesses are folding as well.

Foreclosures are still at an all time high.

Businesses are still downsizing and the overwhelming majority are not rehiring.
The downsizing has made an artificial bubble in their financial statements which will be seen at the end of the last quarter or start of the first quarter of next year.

Consumer confidence is falling as is spending.

The only sector that is hiring is the government and that is another deficit that does nothing for GDP.

No we are not any where near from being away from the brink.
