Discuss????
You are now so concerned, perplexed by the lack of response to your VIPosts, that you are now issuing orders to reply???

I never thought I would hear one of them actually admit the truth. They are a sick group of people.

I think both of you guys should stick to Fox news....because obviously those remarks went way over your heads.
AND then YOU, write "they are sick"....unfugging real. I particularly liked the part where neither of you understood the Mao quote.
If anybody......
was "on the fence", trying to decide if either of your posts had
any "worth" to them; if you two are in fact, the political pundits that you claim to be......that should settle that question...
Beam me up, Scotty !!!

On the theory that it is better to elect the wolf than the wolf in sheep's clothing, I pray that the 'moderate Republican' get beaten badly. Most of the 'moderates' belong in the Democrat party anyway and they will vote for liberalism most of the time.

It is curious about what Harvard must be teaching in the business school these days. Frankly, I am also sick of the elite business school grads that make their fortunes playing financial games rather than applying their intelligence and skill to winning in the global markets to keep America rich and strong. Unlike Bloom however, I don't blame it on capitalism but to the the interference of government in thousands of ways every day. I can understand how someone might become soured on the American model as it is presented by those lefties at Harvard.

I hope wolfdancer would enlighten me on the true meaning of Mao's quote. That infamous 'hero' does seem to be popping up more lately from the administrations czars.

Again, "what we have here is a failure to communicate"
I lump Mao with every other dictator that tortured, killed, enslaved his own people, and... I lived through the Korean war era, with some of my older relatives involved over there, when we ended up fighting Communist China. While you might be trying to make it seem I am a Maoist...that's about as true as your oft repeated, ad nauseum preface to your latest political tirade..."what the left fails to understand .."( and by inference, what YOU grandly comprehend)
His quote was used , just to make a point.
You interpret what was spoken one way, and I another....and then there is your claim that we, "no comprende", along with other routine insinuations here about how dumb, both Gayle and I are for not acquiescing to your groups "plan for a better America"
So therefore,.... as to your request for an explanation:
"I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. "

I'm afraid you got me wrong yet again. I wasn't intending to say that you were a Maoist and anything close. You said that the other two posters didn't understand his quote and was only asking what you meant.

BTW, my 'plan for a better America' is the original plan...letting people live their own lives and shoulder their own responsibilities...it's called being free. I want to preserve that same America that we and our ancestors fought and died for all around the world.

FYI, it is your gang and your fellow travelers that wants to transform America into a socialist/communist utopia where the State becomes the source of power unto itself rather than the citizens who do the work and fight the wars.

Really...??? 71, and closing in fast on 72, and I did not realize that I was part of this nefarious plot to live off of the labors of others, after having worked for my own money, starting at age 10 or 11, shining shoes, until I retired and began collecting on my Social Security...."insurance" (I'm sure that's the part that you would like to forget, as you complain about others, seniors, living off of your sweat and toil)
And then there is the part about me living through an era when Communism was the biggest threat to Democracy. Suddenly, even after it proved to be an abject failure in the Soviet Union, where it originated....I'm part of the group that wants to enact it here?
At it's root....it was/is, just another economic system, that has been proven to be unworkable.
A H.S. economics teacher used the "Two Cows" theory to explain it to us, way back in the early 50's....nothing has changed for me that I would now embrace it, but if that somehow makes you feel superior, I wouldn't want to spoil your day, or your dinner, by attempting to prove otherwise. Come to think of it, that seems to be the theme behind all your rants & raves....your greatness, your amazing grasp on all things, as compared to others, less ennobled then you....it's kind of updating the Harris theory to "I'm ok, you're Not"
That "look at me; see how wonderful I am" thing seems to be catching on here, since lww began it...now both you and Steve have signed on.
What's really laughable is.....that you, he are just wasting your time, spinning your wheels, here. With the limited number of people who participate in any political <s>discussion</s> here...your chances of acquiring a large following are slim to none.

You could have just admitted you didn't understand the quote ... after all, nobody really expected that you would ... or just remained silent.

This desire of yours for daily, public self flagellation (That means giving yourself your own beat down.) is painful to observe.
