It is not long before any negative news about the President will be seen by them as worthy of labeling them "not a news organization." Chavez does the same thing in his country.

Even the far left media saw the danger of the move yesterday when they stood behind Fox on the rotation interviews with the White House.

It will not be long before they go outside of Fox if a non-Fox news outlet had the guts to air a story not favorable to Obama. May never happen but if it did, they would face the same censorship and even they know that. Obama turning to Nixonian regard for a free press may look good in the short term to the left but what if the right was in power? It would not look so good to you then.

When the government can decide what is news, and control it's decimination, we are all in serious trouble.

The left had no problem when the press went after GW for 8 years, Now that the tables are turned, they will do anything they can to stop any negative reporting on their guys.

Censorship at it's worst!

One of the surest signs of totalitarian intent is when people start being charge with the of "ENEMY OF THE STATE" ... and we passed that road sign some time ago.

And, as anyone educated observer could have predicted, the dembots cheered the advance of fascism simply because it wore the holy (D) on it's ballot.

BWA HA HA HA! WE already lived through that, four times, Nixon, Reagan, Bush and Bush!

LOL, now how did I know you were going to bring up Nixon.

Straight from the RNC and Fox noise jooint propaganda, to your willing little hands.

Bush not only nixed certain news organizations, planted phoney people in the W.H. Press Room, cencored scientific reports, hid the coffins of our dead soldiers, destroyed evidence of his administrations treasonist actions, tried to block congressional investigations, But! He moved the most senior, and logest serving White House "First Lady of the W.H. Press corp, out of her front row seat, and refused to call on her for years! Oh, but that was ignored, and Obama is Nixonian, just because this administration calls it like it is? The comparison is ridiculous. When Obama is caught contemplating blowing up RW Think Tanks, Breaking into the press members doctor's offices, and the RNC's Campaign headquarters, putting people on hate lists, and taping their phone conversations, you can start with the Nixonian BS, in the mean time, the closest thing we've ever seen to Nixon, was Reagan's little pretense that he couldn't hear anything, hand to ear, non stop! And Bush 's antics, are listed above, although that does't cover all of them...

Fox is a joke! They have a right wing opinion, and it's actually more than a slant, it's propaganda, and they are caught lying constantly.

I hope that this administration, completely blocks them out of everything. No intervews, no access to the White House, and No access to anyone in the administration.

That's what I hope. Nixon and Bush two were the worst two presidents in history, for blocking unfriendly press people, and Fox is not in the business of news.

Murdoch even admitted that he was for the war, and hence, the pro war stance of Fox.

Dana Perino, admitted that the Bush White House, closed out MSNBC.

Let Obama try to close out what most of us think is a propaganda channel, which is attacking him, and lying about his policies, non stop, and the right is back to their usual ridiculous accusations of Marxism, Communism, and Blah Blah Blah.

Completely absurd!

All Fox does is endlessly produce non-stories about Obama. Watch the video, the time line is all there.
This video is just a small sample of fox distortions.... .Maddrassa, Muslim, Kenya, etc etc

The vid shows that Fox had an agenda BEFORE Obama ever did anything.
That shows intent.

TEL AVIV – President Obama's presidential campaign focused on "making" the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was "controlled," White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.

"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.

"One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters," said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama's chief campaign manager.

"We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it," Dunn said.

Check out the hot new best-seller -- "Muslim Mafia"

Continued Dunn: "Whether it was a David Plouffe video or an Obama speech, a huge part of our press strategy was focused on making the media cover what Obama was actually saying as opposed to why the campaign was saying it, what the tactic was. … Making the press cover what we were saying."

Dunn was speaking at a Jan. 12, 2009, event focusing on Obama's media tactics and hosted by the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development, which seeks to promote collaboration between the U.S. and the Dominican Republic. The event was held in Santo Domingo and was attended by the country's president.

Dunn has been facing some criticism since she led a White House campaign last week against Fox News, slamming the top-rated network as an "arm of the Republican Party" and "opinion journalism masquerading as news."

Fox hit back this past Friday, releasing a video of Dunn speaking to high school students last June in which she lists her two "favorite political philosophers," including Communist Chinese leader Mao Zedong, whose draconian policies are blamed for the deaths of tens of millions of people.

Bush wouldn't take spontaneous questions, at all...you should watch the HBO documentary, "Thank you Mr. President" about Helen Thomas's sixty yars covering the White House.... Bush completely blocked Helen Thomas out, And, as Perino admits in the above clip, MSNBC was also blocked.

Could it because they are a counter point to 50 years of media brain washing??

The Obama camp followers cant even see they are being used.

Interesting thought here. With all the charges being made by the administration about the content of FOX news, none of them have related to the facts being broadcast. The administration may not like what FOX is saying, the they aren't denying it either. If FOX is lying, it should be simple to prove it, but they haven't (can't).
